Welcome Seager Canine Semen Bank

After over a year of hard work, Carol Schubert and Dr. Seager have accomplished what we believe will be a great partnership for those of you who have preserved or will preserve your valued dog’s semen. We welcome you as new clients and are looking forward to getting to know and work with you.

Trish, a Certified Veterinary Technician, has been my right-hand Reproduction Technician since she joined us in 2000. She is very skilled at freezing, thawing and handling frozen semen as well as shipping semen in and out of our facility. We rely heavily on her to work with clients on timing breedings and coordinating incoming and outgoing semen shipments. She also handles all of our international semen shipments. She can be reached at trish@charter.net or by phone at 1-800-777-4072.

Two years ago, we transferred the semen frozen by Herd’s Merchant Semen in Illinois to our facility. Trish has managed the inventory of this semen and has overseen many successful breedings using this semen which dates back to the early 1980s.

Carol has spent untold hours working on a plan to secure your valued semen outside of a “hurricane zone”.  She has been very concerned and would like to see the semen moved, some of it moved back, to the Midwest.

As a result of her efforts, we have arranged for currently frozen semen and that yet to be frozen, to be stored in our Canine Freezing Center in Wisconsin.

We are looking forward to meeting you as our new clients and hope to have a fertile working relationship with you.
